Write for us
Rural Concert Guide welcomes thoughtful pitches about the choices, customs and listening experiences that shape live music in rural places. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting a finished article.
Subjects that fit
We are interested in clear, original ideas about concert programmes, venues, listening, planning and shared customs. A strong proposal has one distinct subject, a clear reader in mind and a reason it will remain useful beyond a single event or season.
Make the pitch specific
Tell us the working title, the central point, the kind of piece you propose and how you would explain it. If the idea relies on a particular event, say what can still be learned after that event has passed. Avoid broad promises, unsupported claims and material that depends on professional advice or local rules.
How to send it
Use the Contact page, choose the editorial question option and include your proposal in the message. Please do not send a full draft unless one has been requested. A pitch is a proposal, not a guarantee of publication; we will consider its fit, clarity and usefulness to readers.
